Coastal Oasis
For this garden design and build project the brief was to create a Coastal Oasis using all natural materials.
At the heart of the garden we built a circular deck, providing a focal point for relaxation and entertainment. Curved steps mirrored circle shape and lead to the upper deck. To enhance privacy and seclusion, raised screening was positioned around the perimeter of the garden.
A timber pergola was constructed over the circular deck at an angle to provide shade and privacy from neighbouring properties.
The planting scheme was designed to thrive in the coastal environment while requiring minimal maintenance. Sun-loving tropical plants, succulents, and coastal natives were selected for their ability to withstand salt spray, strong winds, and harsh sunlight, ensuring year-round color and interest with minimal effort.
